The Jackson County Health Department has the updated Pfizer vaccine available!

Please bring your insurance card(s).

Flu Vaccines are available!

We have Pediatric, Adult and high-dose flu vaccines. Appointments are recommended, walk-ins are welcome.

It is recommended to call us at 740-286-5094 to make sure we have vaccine available before you come in.

Health Services

Jackson County Health Department provides a variety of health and nursing services, including vaccinations, TB skin testing, Primary Care Clinic, Harm Reduction, Help Me Grow and CMH programming. Our staff works diligently to protect your health and prevent disease in the community.

Community Services

Jackson County Health Department is responsible for the issuance of all certified vital records for the county. In addition to the Vital Statistics department, our administrative division is responsible for all community outreach programming, agency planning, human resources and financials.

Environmental Health Services

Jackson County Health Department licenses and inspects local food establishments and other public places to protect human health, monitors public health nuisances, enforces sanitary housing regulations, and permits and inspects home sewage treatment systems.
