Health Services

Jackson County Health Department provides a variety of health and nursing services, including vaccinations, TB skin testing, Help Me Grow and BCMH programming. Our staff works diligently to protect your health and prevent disease in the community.

Community Services

Jackson County Health Department is responsible for the issuance of all certified vital records for the county. In addition to the Vital Statistics department, our administrative division is responsible for all community outreach programming, agency planning, human resources and financials.

Environmental Health Services

Jackson County Health Department licenses and inspects local food establishments and other public places to protect human health, monitors public health nuisances, enforces sanitary housing regulations, and permits and inspects home sewage treatment systems.
